Advice please
« on: May 13, 2022, 07:58:52 AM »

I am using vagirux and it is helping but I am very itchy and sore  and so uncomfortable in my vagina and also  inside where I insert it . I used lube to insert it to help with the scratching it seemed to  to make it easier  but I am still so sore and uncomfortable  even wearing g underwear or sitting . I was on patches but have came off then and just using vagirux
any advice appreciated

MayB it's not suitable for your tender skin, have U tried 'ovestin' or 'vagifem'.  Or you may not be using enough?  Some find that using 'sylc' or 'yes' products as well as VA treatments helps a lot.

How far do you try to insert it, perhaps do it gradually rather than trying to 'push' too far in?  Also, are you able to apply some on your finger to make the vaginal walls less 'stiff' B4 you put the dose inside?

How often are you using the vagirux? I sometimes have to increase the amount of time a week I use it,it's very low dose,so fairly safe, run it by your gp to use it as and when, mine leaves it up to me

How long have you been using it for and how often?  If it is early days it takes a good while to work, but you may need some ovestin as well,  to smear around the opening of the vagina and externally.  I have also found that I am better off inserting it with my finger as the applicator seems to aggravate things for me.  If you are inflamed around the opening of your vagina you may need some dermovate from your GP to settle things down.
