Is this the competition where countries enter a song that's sung by a famous singer from that country and the best wins? I remember one singer from Canada performed a song years ago in similar competition but obviously it wasn't Eurovison, it must have been a different one.

Morning C.C. - not always a famous singer. As the years have gone by, the costumes and 'acts' have become more and more surreal!
