This sounds like what I am going through, it is awful and I feel for all of you ladies going through the same thing. Mine started in May 2021. I had a niggling headache and woozy feeling in the week before a period that then went away once bleeding started. Over the next few months I was treated for 'sinusitis' that seemed to keep coming and going. Then came this strange unbalanced feeling, which looking back always seemed to be premenstrually. In February of this year it has ramped up and has been continuous, although it does fluctuate and can be much better at times. I have had an MRI which was normal and have seen an ENT consultant who suspected vestibular migraines. I was prescribed Amitriptyline for this but the side effects were horrible so discontinued this after a few months as it wasn't helping. Am now awaiting balance testing. I have suffered with premenstrual syndrome for the last 8 years (since having a baby) so am fully aware of the havoc hormones can cause! But something has changed with my hormones as my pms has got worse

I used to get relief once bleeding started but actually feel quite poorly during and after now as well! Along with this unbalanced feeling I have some other new symptoms such as gastric problems, itchy eyes, ears and a super dry nose. I have developed some anxiety, have crying spells, breast pain lasting weeks at a time, headaches, joint pains. My cycles are irregular ranging from 27-37 days, spotting before a period (new to me) and much lighter bleeding. It would seem plausible that the unbalanced feeling is hormonaly linked. All blood tests have come back normal, thyroid fine and iron levels. My GP agrees that my symptoms could be caused by hormones and could be perimenopause so has started me on HRT, I am 36. Hoping this is the answer! How are you getting on with the HRT? I hope you have found some relief. Do you have any other symptoms as well?
