Can anyone advise?
My OH and I both tested positive for Covid last week (we've been SO careful and the first time in two years we meet up with anyone indoors, they test positive the next day...
)
Neither of us have the app, but we reported the tests online and were told to do LFTs on day 5 and 6 and could then leave isolation if both were negative. We've just done our day 5 LFT, positive for both of us, and when I reported the results online, it's treating us as if we are new infections. We're being bombarded with texts about contacting people we've been in contact with in the past two days!
Have we done something wrong, or is this normal?
I've got Covid right now as well, and have been reporting my test results here:
https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result but haven't had any texts telling me to contact people, so I also wonder if some of these might somehow be scams? I've told people I might have been in contact with anyway, but the problem is by the time you get a positive test result, you've already spread it around.
Mine was very rough for four days, then started gradually feeling better. I'm currently on day 10 since testing positive and still showing a really faint positive line, it's so annoying!
I'm triple jabbed, dread to think how bad it would have been without vaccines.
