Hi everyone I will try and keep this super brief but thank you for reading. I have been suffering from perimenopause since my covid vaccine last April. The theory being I was practically there already and it just shoved me through the door! Since then I have suffered from extreme anxiety and palpitations during the 24hrs before my period and then on and off over the days of my ovulation. I also have really horrendous acne, no sex drive, dryness, painful breasts the week before my period and exhaustion.
Prior to the jab I was getting night sweats, had no sex drive/dryness. The rest were all new. Theyve been completely debilitating especially the anxiety - and I end up wishing away a good 10 days of every month because they are so hateful I cant cope. I decided to make an appointment to go private and see a specialist because my doc was zero help. The thing is my appointment is Monday, but for the first time this month I didn't have my usual symptoms - and I appeared not to ovulate and I wondered if this was why - and now I am thinking is this normal or are my symptoms easing (just assuming the jab did give me a shove what if it is wearing off?!!!) I appreciate this is wishful thinking but my appointment is costing a lot and I don't want to go if things are improving.
Basically my question is does this happen during peri - that one month you barely have symptoms and the next you have loads? And could not ovulating have been the reason why? If it is usual for it to come and go then I will keep my appointment because every other month since April has been so awful and I really can't cope with any more.
What do you think? Thank you in advance xxx
