Not posted for a while so glad I can  reach out again for some advice and support.
I’m post memo now for about 7/8 years and been on tibilone for at least the last 5 years. Before the pandemic I was changed to evorel conti patches but supply problems and then lockdown resulted in me staying on tibilone. When supplies improved I tried the patches for about two months but had the worst palpitations ever so stopped and took tibilone again.
For the last 5/6 weeks I’ve had on and off pain in left breast so went to GP who told me to stop HRT and has referred me to breast clinic but now my left nipple is sometimes tingly and sometimes inverting but not always. I am worried sick and haven’t eaten since last week or two. I have checked and checked and no lumps anywhere. My appointment is next week but I am anxious to the point where I can’t focus on anything else. Anyone any advice please.
My nipple always looks normal in the morning but over the course of the day it can change. Could this be hormones?

1 of mine did that, worried the Hell out of DH - GP had a quick look, gave it a tweak and it stood up.  Not a problem.

Did U stop the HRT - I would have waited until I saw a Specialist.  Try not to worry.  Breast tissues alters as we age from puberty onwards  .  What's the worst that could happen?  Women are treated for several types of breast disease successfully.

I did stop the HRT in a panic so now I’m suffering night sweats, lowmood (not what I need) flushes already.
I had problems with the same breast in 2003 and fibroadenoma found. I know it’s still in there somewhere but can’t feel it anymore. At the time consultant decided best to leave in situ.
I am worried sick right now but you’re right and I’ll take on board your wise words x

Start the HRT.  Quality of Life is the main issue.  With the World in the state it is, who knows what will happen, why risk suffering more than is necessary!
