Tingling stomach and legs
« on: December 12, 2021, 09:47:36 PM »

Posted a few weeks ago about stomach pains
Dr put me on Kliovance. Just finished first month and the stomach pain has lessen but I am having strange sensations like pins and needles/nerves on edge in stomach and legs (mainly thighs). Have had numerous tests all coming back normal part from my white blood cells which were on the low side. I do have ceoliac desease and Dr is not concern. Just wondering if anyone else have had the same sensation in their body and if so are they menopausal. any suggestions how to get rid of it would be greatly appreciated  ::)

MayB low oestrogen levels?

How is your posture and also your foot wear?  If the posture is compensating it may lead to strange feelings.  Several years ago I woke with deep, intense pain in both thigh, so sudden that I couldn't even scream out.  This happened for months, intermittently; until I realised that it was referred pain from my back due to bending over cabinets at antique fairs  ::)

Yes, Julespat, l had lots of tingling and you’ll find that many others have, or had, this too. A GP told me it was all to do with the menopause and anxiety. I think the less you worry about it, the less you notice it. Distraction helps.

Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use, to chart progress.  It's easy to believe that it ain't improving whereas we may not realise when we do feel a little different or better ;-)

Hello Julespat and welcome to the forum.

My trusty meno book talked about the physical sensations that come with meno anxiety and your symptom is one of them. I still have internal quivering feelings which are milder than they were but seem to travel down one leg!  It's a very unnerving feeling and you have my sympathy.

Take care.
