Fed up - swollen hands and feet, sore joints. Wot to do?
« on: November 13, 2021, 07:40:28 PM »

Suggestions please. Moved up to 4 pumps oestrogel and on 100mg utrogestan daily from a patch to try and kick start limbo. That didn’t happen but awful pain in joints and depression after 3 months so Now back to patches but have awful swollen hands and feet and feel sooo crippled. Any suggestions? Would it have been too high oestrogel or progesterone which has affected my hands and feet. I feel I can barely walk some days. I’ve just had enough of this.

Could it be too much hormone? or it could be poly-myalgia rheumatic.  For which steroids are usually prescribed.

Libido may require a shot of testosterone which is prescribed by a Consultant via your GP.  GPs can't prescribe for women.

Swollen extremities can occasionally be a sign of medical conditions.  When you push the skin in, does it pop up or is there an indent for a while?

I suggest that U see your Nurse Practitioner or GP?  You may require investigations.
