I’d really appreciate your thoughts please.

I’m on cycle 6 of Oestrogel and Utrogestan.  I am on 2 pumps Oestrogel and cyclical Utrogestan 200mg day’s 15-26.

Main reason for starting HRT was cyclical depression. Also insomnia, dryness, flushes and sweats. 

I have only had one light bleed, around cycle three, is this usual?

Cyclical depression has resolved a lot, didn’t get anything last cycle yesterday randomly had a 20 minute very low mood.

Insomnia has eased. Dryness eased but elbows gone dry again, other areas still okay as yet.

Flushes and sweats eased.

I’ve been having migraines (2 very severe hemiplegic ones as well) for four weeks. I do get chronic migraines but have never had severe hemiplegic ones before.

I’m on day 7 of cycle 6.  I have GP review at the end of this cycle.

Any thoughts?

Hi Wannabewell,
I’ve just seen your post but don’t know much about migraines so I’m not much help to you. Hopefully someone who knows more will be by soon.
I’m on cycle 4 and I’ve missed 2 bleeds, I think it’s normal. Somewhere on here I’ve read that 15% of us don’t bleed at all on cyclical.
You’ve had great results with cyclical depression, insomnia, flushes, sweats and dryness. I hope the migraine stuff gets better soon.
