Michelle,

I can’t tolerate oranges… they give me a really upset tummy. I’ve got a few food intolerances, citrus being one. Maybe a vitamin C tablet would help? I have heard magnesium is good for anxiety… I have bought some.
I’m glad you had a rest day today. It really does you good. How have you been.

My day has been ok. I had a bit of a wobbly afternoon, few tears for no reason, but better now.

Suzy
I’m glad you had a goood day apart from your afternoon tears .. hopefully you have a relaxing evening

I love oranges just haven’t eaten them for a while because of tummy .. but I may try one
I have had a good day doing nothing lol
But now I feel agitated and I know it’s all to do with waiting for this period as I get the aches and pains & the feeling of a impending period .. it’s just waiting for it to arrive when it decides to show it’s face.

This will pass soon hopefully.. it’s not too bad but I’m aware of it & sooner it goes the more relaxed I’ll be :)

I don’t know if I can have magnesium I would have to check ( I have to check all these things because of my warfrain )

Hope you have a good evening Suzy :) and I hope tomorrow is a better day for you from start to finish xx

That period is taking its time isn’t it!!!  At least you know why you’re feeling agitated.

What do you take the warfarin for? Heart? I remember my dad having it, and yes, he had to be really careful with certain things, and burned in the sun! X

Hi Suzy
I take it because when I had my son 28 years ago not long after I developed a blood clot in leg and then in lung .. so was originally put on it for a duration of time .. but when I got took off it , I got another clot .. so was always safer to stay on the warfarin & they told me for life back then when I was 18

When I was 40 I got them to recheck as over the years things can change and they did all tests but said I’m to stay on for life .. I did have a 4 year break but swapped it for fragmin injections .. so was pleased to go back on it after injecting myself so long.

Yeah it’s a waiting game  .. I had a period after I finished the HRT .. which came right on time
& I shoulda been on last week if it was still on HRT
This makes me believe that my own hormones are in control or taking control now as I remember seeing discharge & thinking oh … that’s well out of sync
So I think I’m actually due this week if I go by that
So that must be why I can feel it coming not constant but when I get these feelings I also get the feelings of impending period so yeah it’s good to know why it’s happening but I wish it would do one.

I used to always know I was due in the week leading to period .. seems this time it wants to warn me earlier lol
Although this is the longest I’ve been without a period .. I’m sure it will happen unless you can still feel this way and not have one ??? I’ve never missed a period YET this is longest I’ve gone without one aswell ..
I did wonder if that’s why the aniexty hasn’t been so intense as it’s my own hormones now … I dunno Suzy .. I guess at everything just lately lol

Oh wow, that must have been scary for you to deal with at 18! ( I had my first son at 18 too)

Hopefully your body is getting back to normal. The HRT will probably have knocked your own timings right out, so it’s probably to be expected that it seems to be screaming out for a period but it’s just not quite there yet. All these signs are really positive, especially as your anxiety is getting so much better xx

A bit wobbly Michelle.
I had a call from the dr checking up with me. I said I was still really anxious in the mornings… she said that’s normal with anxiety. She doesn’t want to swap and change my citalopram, I’m to stick with it and give it 6-8 weeks.
I’m not as bad as I was, but I’m still very anxious…. But I’m trying to stay positive and give it more time.

How about you Michelle… how is your morning? X

Suzy I’m glad your not as anxious .. even though it’s there it’s always better when not so intense .. so few more weeks could feel the benefit from them even more which is a win win :)

I’m ok .. woke up jittery as usual but carried on as normal and then the jittery as passed
But I know prob later I’ll get same as it’s been happening last couple evenings but not too intense but be nice not to have it .. still awaiting period so it’s just a waiting game :)
Have cleaned up .. been shops and now cooking shepherds pie
I get bored not doing much but I’m not ready to do my usual things just yet until I get more control over my body
I can’t wait to go into town and do few things but I take each day as it comes :)

I’ve read so many on here today suffering with aniexty/panic before starting HRT on HRT .. I just will never quite understand it

I hope you have a great day Suzy and I hope things start looking up :)

I think I spoke too soon. My day went downhill. I got very tearful this afternoon. Had a go at my husband for breathing, then felt so bad and cried for about 2 hours!

Tomorrow is another day………

What I would give for a lay in.

Tonight I feel ok just feel really warm I’ve been jittery on and off all day but I much rather that lol than aniexty though ..

Do you wake up early because of the anxiety or have you always been an early bird?
I’m walking early because of the anxiety. It does make for a longer morning, when I feel worse.

7 weeks…. Hopefully you will see a lot of improvement come the end of the week.
I think I’m nearly week 5 ? I’m not sure of exact dates, I didn’t write it down.

Let’s hope for peaceful sleep tonight x

I’ve always got up early for work so was like clockwork , but since aniexty it’s earlier .. which as you say makes a longer morning

I used to wake up and beable to go back to sleep on days off for extra hour  .. now once my eyes are open they are open ..
I’ve never been a great sleeper ever .. but got worse with aniexty ..

I remember the date lol .. I didn’t write it down just remembered ..

5 weeks Suzy hope you start to feel relief from now on :)

Really bad anxiety this morning.
I don’t understand why I’m feeling worse? I thought things were getting easier.
I’ve resorted to taking a diazepam this morning to try and stop my constant leg jigging and restlessness.
Unless I’m having another hormonal drop…. I can’t think what is going on.
Sigh.

Sorry to hear this Suzy , could it be your AD also .. as heard it gets worse before better with AD ( just a thought )
I did when I came off patches get Bad Aniexty daily as we have previously discussed , but at some point you expect it to be less Intense
I hope you start to feel relaxed soon Suzy

Did you have vaccine for covid Suzy ??
Seems a lot of people who have had vaccine have suffered with hormone changes also after having those …

Hope your ok xx

Yes, I had the vaccine. The first one gave me a frozen shoulder. The second was ok. Didn’t notice a difference in hormones.

I really don’t know what is ramping my anxiety up. It’s very disappointing  :'(

How are you feeling this morning?
