I'm about to start gel and utro at next period. I'm extremely anxious at the moment, as well as physical symptoms.

PLEASE PLEASE if you have had a bad experience with the gel, please don't add it here - I literally can't cope.

In the last few days and week or so, some women have highlighted that the packaging of Oestrogel has changed (nothing to do with oestrodose, which is another thing entirely). It was Estrogel and now Oestrogel, and slightly different colouring on the bottle. A few people on line have been saying that their symptoms have returned. But of course, plenty of people will be getting on with it, probably haven't even noticed the subtle packaging change!!

I just need reassurance that the gel still works for you. Like I said, not to be confused with the Oestrodose story, which was last year.

Mine still works. You get a very biased view on this site as most people are here because they have problems. The vast majority are perfectly OK and never need to look for this type of forum. Every type of hrt has someone who can't tolerate it but if it was that bad they'd go out of business.

Hi, i’m new on here. So glad you have brought this up. I finally got the courage to go to the docs yesterday after suffering for years already and i have been prescribed exactly the same. My anxiety has been so crippling this month i need to hear some positivity. I’m so hoping HRT is going to help me as i’ve tried every natural route i can think of!

I've been on Oestrogel for two years. No problems. The only time my symptoms return is if I've been a bit idle about applying it properly.

I have the new bottles, my symptoms returned during a period of hot weather but that has happened before, i started it 5 years ago. The rest of the time i have not had a reaccurance of symptoms and i have used the new shape bottles since Xmas.
