I started the gel about 10 days ago - no major changes yet, but side effects are settling. I start Utro tomorrow night. Last year, I took  Utro by itself (without oestrogen) on the advice of a specialist - but I felt awful - physically and emotionally. I've since seen a different specialist and am on oestrogel too. I'm so nervous about taking the progesterone after how it made me feel last time, but logic is trying to tell me that if I didn't have enough oestrogen, and was taking the Utro only - this probably was what made me feel worse.  Please no negatives about utro as I'm so worried! I really hope it works out this time.

Hi Dotty - is that always alongside oestrogen? I wonder if the reason it caused me issues was because I was taking it alone...

yes I take it with oestrogen. x
