Kathleen, are you under the Newson clinic at all?
If so, I have heard from a few women that she does like to increase gel if things don’t improve. I’m not sure that is always the answer though?

Mindful, I’m sure you are not having a serious mental health crisis. I think hormones when out of balance, create havoc to the body and brain. I’m also contemplating a hysterectomy, but for some reason, am scared that I will feel worse!

What I don’t get is, the Oestrogen declines steadily over years. Then we slap on a patch or a few blobs of gel and hope that we are  hitting the right dose? It’s not so easy is it?

It’s definitely good to know we are not alone.

Does anyone know of there is a stronger product than rescue remedy out there?

Hello Mindfulmoomins and thank you for your kind words.

I am taking Utrogestan vaginally as this is supposed to lessen side effects and I  assume you are using this regime as well.
You would think that my five pumps of gel would cancel out the side effects anyway but perhaps not.

What I wouldn't give to have my ovaries up and fully functioning again! Oh, how I miss them!

Wishing you well and sending hugs.

Hello Nas.

Yes I am with Newson  Health and they are a fan of using more gel.  Like you I am not convinced but I assume they have seen other women in my position and know what they are talking about.

Perhaps the sunny uplands of contentment and well being are on the horizon and I just have to keep going. It's proving a tough journey though.

I never really bothered with Rescue Remedy but I am tempted by high strength CBD oil. Failing that,  industrial quantities of gin perhaps.

Take care.

;D ;D yes industrial quantities of gin indeed!!
Have you tried cbd oil? The highest dose I’ve bought is 10% so far.

Thanks Nas and Kathleen. Hope you are doing ok today. I actually slept until 7 am this morning. Feels very weird. Like when you first sleep through the night after having a baby!

Also, I think if you take enough Bach Rescue Remedy it is basically like gin as it has an alcohol base  ;) ;)
