Hi ladies, I’m currently awaiting a pelvic scan, but I just wondered if anyone could maybe help with their experiences of either fibroids, cysts or inguinal hernia.
The symptoms I’m having are intermittent stabbing sensations ( occasionally pricking) about 4inches down from my belly button and an inch in from my groin on the left side. Sometimes I get a bit of a pulling sensation but I’ve read that both fibroids and hernias can cause this.
About four years ago two small
fibroids were found and since then I’ve been on conti hrt so I’m thinking maybe they’ve grown. I have no bleeding, but I’ve read that fibroids that grow outside the uterus and on a stalk don’t always bleed. I’m also having to go pee a bit more than usual and have a feeling of fullness in my lower abdomen. All my blood and urine tests have come back fine, including CA125.
I realise I won’t know what’s what until I’m investigated, but when I read up about symptoms, mine seem to fit all three ... fibroids, cysts and hernias. I guess I’m just trying to narrow down the possibilities a little.
