BHRT practitioners
« on: May 11, 2021, 02:12:31 PM »

Hi

After 3 1/2 years of constant pill trials (and one hrt trial) for my awful peri symptoms, I'm now looking to try a non conventional route. The pill is just not working for me avd estradiol alone in my trial of hrt was too much.

I don't really want to discuss the pros and cons of BHRT, which I can happily reaearch myself, but I'd love to hear from any ladies who have had success with this and also recommendations for practitioners.

This is not cheap, so any advice prior to me going down this route, would be much appreciated. Xx

Has noone seen a private specialist in compounded BHRT???

I can go no further with the NHS. I'm told to try pill after pill... Keep struggling. My hrt trial was awful. I'm clearly not ready for that, or that standard dose.

I think Mary Jane uses it? Maybe send her a pm. There's a thread on it which may show you some other users.

If you put 'bioidentical' into the search box you'll find a few discussions about BHRT.

There's one discussion which is called 'Is this the right place to discuss compounded hormones?' - I messaged a few people off that thread to ask about their experiences and which doctor they saw.

I haven't switched to BHRT since then it's worth reading through the different threads.

Thanks folks. I've been reading that thread with interest.

I can't work out if all the ladies who have gone down the compounded BHRT are happy and no longer on the forum... Or if there really are that few of them 🤷‍♀️.

I might message Mary Jane.

Thank you. X
