My upper lip has always been dark  >:(  :'( and after a couple of weeks constant tweezing, it rarely hurts; unless I pull 1 that I haven't noticed  :o which is usually long, stiff and white!

It amazes me how everyday I check my chin and top lip. Then bam I look in a mirror sometime later in the day and find a really long one  ::)

It's all about the angle towards the light ;-).  It's those under the chin that I can feel that I can't pull  >:(

My mother used to bleach her upper lip and I swore I would never do it! ;D

The stuff she used didn't smell very good...I was pretty young and I didn't know what she was putting on her face  ;D

Yikes the visual! :o ;D  I would rather pluck the hairs and deal with the teary eyes.

I just thought I'd update you on the Epilator journey. Thanks to everyone that gave me advice. I bought one and I am very impressed with it. I think the knack to avoid pain is to use the epilator on really short hair, my new gadget does a short at 0.5mm!!
ANyway, I am really impressed and it wasn't painful at all.

THanks ;D

Any tips on making your bikini line less painful? I did mine twice and the 2nd time the machine got out of control and I was frightened
I'd have to go to A+E to remove it from my lady-bits  :parti: the embarrassment

Where do you get the replacement heads from please? How often would you have to replace it? My old Bruan must have done about 500 1/2 legs.

Maybe do just a little bit of the bikini line at a time, rather than all at once. You might find using it on shorter hair is less painful too.
I’m thinking the replacement heads would be from the Braun website, but I haven’t looked yet. I found changing the epilator was needed every couple of years - with cleaning the head inbetween.
Now I know you can get just the heads- I might be doing it yearly, depending on the price  :)
