I've had vaginally discharge since last July. Been tested for thrush, std's, no of them.

Been given thrush treatments, the problem is 50% better after three lots of the same meds. Had antibiotics, not worked.

Now they are saying as no thrush present in swabs that it is aerobic vaginitis. Was given a cream and 7 x plungers to be used over 7 nights. It's no better or worse.

Please can anyone help. I'm sick of feeling wet all day since last July x

Thin discharge is a symptom of vaginal atrophy - are you using any local oestrogen?

Hi,

there are lots of things it might be . Cytolitic vaginosis , lactobacilus over growth - Bacterial vaginosis . All of which are treated differently. I would google and research. Your local GUM clinic should be able to do a wet mount slide straight away and diagnose if it is one of them. The lactobacili overgrowth is often missed - it is where the good bacteria is 10x the length they should be . Google the difference between this and cytolitic there are lots of articles and papers. Over use of anti biotics can cause all sorts down there.
Try not to wear any knickers if you can.
Look at using local estrogen which can help strenghten the tissues.
YES WM can help some ladies.

This aricle may help- but there are lots of others.

I hope this helps

Thanks for your help. Pleased to say it's gone.

A couple of days after the cream stopped coming out, it had gone.

So nice not to be in discomfort. Have been since July 2020.

Hi,
pleased it has resolved itself, having to suffer like that for so long is hideous. It is trial and error unfortunately. This may be of interest to you. I suspect they gave you one of the treatmets listed.
