I went to remove crockery from the dishwasher this morning but they weren't clean  :-\.  Apparently I hadn't put them through a wash cycle  ::).  Done now.   ;D

Oh, no

no,no,no..... stupid stupid woman....

I've been doing the whole big hair removal thing this morning, my god it takes a long time nowadays!  Got bored, thought i'd take a break, came downstairs to put the kettle on, watch the news, check the weather.  You know how you can sometimes forget that you're not properly dressed?  Just wandering around in t-shirt and knickers?  And you know how sometimes the postman knocks on the door when he's got something for you that won't fit through the letter box?

I'm trying to kid myself that he might not have noticed.

Earlier I repeated my 'empty the dishwasher' scenario and wondering why the crocks weren't cleaned  >:(  ::)

Oh... so you think he probably did notice then?   OK, so i'll try to look on the bright side, best i can come up with is "good job  i put big pants on today".  Hmmm, that doesn't seem to help much.

Thanks Jaypo, that's a nice thought, but he's a good 25 years younger than me so maybe not!  More likely he's in need of counselling.

I wonder how often it happens though. I wonder if he knows it was a meno-moment.  What if he just thinks i'm a dirty old woman.  I'm never going to know, am I?

I just saw him coming down the path, wanted to hide but thought that's just putting it off, so i opened the door, big smile, said Good morning and wished him a happy xmas.  And he was his usual self, no smirking, no funny looks or anything.

Phew....now forget it and move on.  Act like a normal sane person, at least for a while, until the next time!

You know, it wasn't that long ago i had a hissy fit and burst into tears because i dropped a teaspoon on the floor, now i can embarrass myself in front of someone i see half a dozen times a week, and i can laugh about it.  Partly down to the hrt, but also in a big way down to you lot.  Big, big thanks for that, you keep my sanity intact!
