I recently bought a juice extractor and used it for the first time the other day. I'd put loads of carrots through it but was getting no juice - I thought the thing was faulty till I realised I hadn't removed the little plastic cap on the spout.  ::)

It got very messy when I did - carrot juice everywhere! The cap has now been consigned to the back of a drawer.

On my way to the bathroom I opened the wardrobe door in the bedroom rather than going across the landing  :o

Left my car key and mobile outside for 3 nights - and it's rained heavily.  Now drying out on the windowsill!  ::) will my SIM card still work?

The SIM card might be ok if dried.
Not sure whether the little slot/pocket that it goes into will have dried out though.
Best leave the whole thing to dry for as long as possible.
Good Luck.

Take the SIM card and the battery out and put them and the phone in a bag of rice. Put the bag somewhere warm, inside  ;D and leave them for a couple of days.

My phone is machine washable. Left it in my jeans pocket, but was alerted by the clunking noise. I took it apart and left it to dry in the airing cupboard. Took a few days, but no ill effects, but very clean.  ;)

I did drop this 1 into a cuppa last year and it survived.  Sadly 2 days of rain and sun = humidity which seems to have done for the SIM card  :(

Had to join in here :D,driving down a main road the other day,i was wondering why there were so many cars in a long line parked close to the pavement to my left,as usualy you only see the odd one or two parked up.so driving carefully round them and narrowly missing a car coming from the other direction on the other side of the quite narrow road :o..i was wondering why the driver and passanger were looking at me in such a shocked way!......whenl i suddenly realised that none of the cars were "parked" at all...it was just a long que at the traffic lights.......  ::)i then had to "overtake them all and try and find a gap to pull in in front of someone...i could feel everyones eyes on me wondering what the hell i was doing!...ground ..and swallowing up come to mind!

I hope a motor insurer isn't reading this - they'll put a clause in disclaiming all responsibility for menopausal women!!!
