Hot flushes stopped
«
on:

After years my hot flushes seem to have suddenly stopped...!!!?? I'm now 53 and just these last 2 weeks have had no flushes whatsoever, a wee bit of new breast tenderness, but that's all....
Thoughts?

The breast tenderness might indicate you've produced some oestrogen so perhaps you have enough to stop the flushes?

Yeah I did think that, but this I suppose is more sensitivity than tenderness. Was hoping maybe I'd come out the other side... We'll see. fingers crossed.

Do U keep a mood/food/symptom diary to chart progress, it might be useful ;-)

I don't keep a diary. I had a hysterectomy 10 years ago, still with my ovaries though. Perimenopausal symptoms since then and even before then. But having no flushes for 2 weeks is unprecedented....!!

That’s great news! Mine stopped for a couple of months, just after summer ended, but now are back with a vengeance. My head feels like it’s on fire sometimes!

I guess they might return, but am enjoying the reprieve for now. 😁

Yes, definitely enjoy this period. You never know, they may have stopped for good, God willing. Mine have calmed down but haven’t gone totally x

Mine always stopped about ten days before a period together with breast tenderness but then began again a week after period finished so it will be interesting to see if yours return. Keep us posted!
