Aberaeron - at the public have been asked not to attend.  I suppose the amount of traffic there would be horrendous.  That road invites lots of accidents under usual conditions  .  There aren't many viewing spots along that route to Borth, though they should go by the house I sold 40 years ago  .  There was a fire in Borth on Friday, don't know how much that will impact on the Sprint?

Could you find a spot along the route for a look-C?  Misty yesterday, hot across Dartmoor today.  Wonder what 2morrow will bring, it's a Time Trial?

Beautiful morning here 

Its the team time trial tiday so I’m not bothering to go and watch  DH and DS know a good place to watch but so will every other cyclist in the area 

Three teams were in hotels here last night and tonight including Richie Porte

There was a fire in Borth on Friday so I sent a message to the Tour organisers in case the Sprint along the sea front would be compromised.  I had a lovely reply  .  I think that we get a better 'view' on 📺 ;-).  Also, it's too warm for me.

I asked my DH how can I see you on tv, he says there are two men dressed as dragons not far away

It's a bit boring 2 B honest.  Roll on (see what I did there) 2morrow 

I waited 6 days 2 C DH at le Tour but the camera pointed in the other direction every time  . He was standing on the opposite corner  but he brought back 'photos++.  Some a bit of a blur

Early start for the riders today, hopefully the scenery will make up for it 😁

FabULUS though with the 5 mins lead we didn't get to C the house which we sold 40 years ago  the camera was pointing THE WRONG WAY 

Rain 4 cast.  But so far, through Barmouth now, it's bright ☀️ from a blue 🌌 .  The peloton are chatting away between themselves, probably putting off the thoughts of the Gt Orme which they will ride twice  . They won't appreciate the scenery but we are, although we don't know from Barmouth North at all.  Good shots of Cader Idris earlier  be a lovely view from the top!

I went to north Wales for the first time last year I’m ashamed to admit, but we had a lovely holiday when we did 

We drove to the top of the great orme, part of the way up we stopped and watched seals lying in a little cove, good views from the top, even though it was November it was a clear day.  We also saw the wild goats, I hope they will be on best behaviour today

WOW! I had no idea that the Orme was accessible!  All I know of Llandudno is that it is a retirement area with similar frontage to Aberystwyth.  Hotels along a Prom.

HOT++ there.  No goats.  Since they took over the town in 2020 many have been moved ...... to set up herds elsewhere ;-).  ? curry anyone ?

They were donated from Kashmir.

During yesterdays stage a young lad was racing on the pavement slightly ahead of the pro-cyclists, 1 who handed him a bottle for his efforts  .

Similar to Fabio Quarteraro yesterday: he noted a sign in the crowd supporting him so he went over to the fencing at the end of the session to throw his gloves up to her: they fitted too - a bigger smile you won't find on those fans rewarded for their support

Cycling is a very accessible sport for fans (in non covid times) and its free to watch at the side if a road 

I think its been a great week for showcasing cycling in britain, ive enjoyed it

Yep.  It's been great following from the comfort of the sofa  .

That's another week ticked off the list  .  Mainly fine weather throughout.

Paris - Roubaix is in October, its a spring race usually and its had good weather for years, now its October it could be very difficult if the weather is wet, lots of slippery cobbles
