He may well enjoy buttering up the ladies ;-).  They certainly make a fuss of lads ........ is he much at banter?

As long as he makes sure that he keeps his hands well washed with hot soapy water, wears masks where necessary and strips off when he gets home, changes his clothing the next morning.  It will be good on his CV!

Thanks both. It was a toss up between this and Amazon - he thought the care home would be more rewarding. What a star! Certainly a worthwhile job to be doing, especially at the moment.

Here we go again:

Headlines without clarity - The number of daily reported Covid-19 cases has risen by a quarter, according to the latest UK government figures.
There have been 6,178 coronavirus cases in the UK in the last 24 hours, up 1,252 cases since Tuesday, and 37 deaths.

Is this due to more testing?  More people presenting with symptoms and being admitted?

Never mind clearing wards !!

Two wards of a hospital have been closed after an outbreak of coronavirus cases, a health board has announced.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg health board said it was taking "robust action" after 34 positive cases at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Latest Public Health Wales figures show the health board accounted for 25 of 31 Covid-19 infections "probably" or "definitely" caught while in hospital.

The health board said early evidence suggested the outbreak was "contained".

How does this happen after all these months, heads should ROLL!

34 cases probably caught in hospital - why?  It appears that there's a break in the cleaning chain somewhere.  The public at large are being told to keep away from others .......

When MRSA and C.diff were active there was an uproar!  We need isolation hospitals with dedicated staff so that there isn't the transfer between wards.

Thanks for asking CLKD, he's doing ok. Real in at the deep end stuff though. I think he's happy to be making a difference. He gets a covid test once a week which is good. He's just grateful to have a job tbh.

That's good.  How in depth is the testing?  My sister temp scans all her Staff 3 times a day and they have a private company taking nose/throat swaps weekly but the results take 5-7 days to appear  ::)
