Hi Ladies,
So I’ve been posting about what I think are piles.  I’m speaking to my doctor On the phone in the morning at last.

Just wanted to ask if any of you had experienced this at all.  I actually don’t think I have any piles or anything going on inside the bum.  I’m a bit dry at the front and it seems very dry at opening of the bottom, well I put some cream in the opening of my bum and I nearly went through the roof with pain, It is painful when sitting, walking and to clench your bum together, it radiates out to the bum cheeks as well and is constantly drawing and I think it’s pulling up to the tailbone, the pain I was previously asking about. 
I’ve been using the anusol thinking this was a pile problem but obviously not.


Has anyone had anything like this could it be connected to the front problem?

Sorry me again, I’ve just pressed into the tailbone the part nearest your bottom and that is so painful too same pain as touching the bum opening 😞

Tell your GP that you need an examination! you can't diagnose that area over the phone.

I have a tender coccyx due to injury when I was 14.  There are a lot of nerve endings in that region.  Have you a blow-up ring to sit on to ease pressure from the coccyx?

No I haven’t got one, I’m hoping she will call me in for an examination. I’ve been pressing it to much and it’s radiating right across my cheek, my bottom feels so sore

It sounds like vaginal atrophy. The dryness at the front can also affect the perineum - the skin between the vagina and the anus - and this can be very painful. You can also get thrush up your bottom but that is itchy usually as well as sore. I hope you get seen soon.

Got a phone call with her in the morning,now having major panic. Nearly went through the roof when I touched bum opening and it’s the same pain when I touch that tailbone bony bit. Petrified this is something serious.

Muscles may become lax at peri due to a lack of oestrogen.  You may be sent for an X-ray as well as being advised to sit on that open ring idea which can be bought from mobility shops.  I had to sit on a cushion for at least 3 months imagine that as a 12 year old in front of the Whole School    .

You can get split skin at the back of your bum which is very sore. Have you had a look with a mirror to see what's going on?

I’ve tried looking but can’t quite see.
I asked oh to look and he said was a bit red.  It’s the soreness when touching the tailbone that’s worrying me.

Hi hope you dont mind me jumping in, new to all this.  I'm not dry at front but at back so sore and to embarrassed to see my man gp. Any help would be appreciated.  Have used anusol pesseries but not helped. Used cream on outside but that actually hurt. Thanks 🤫😊

I originally used anusol as I thought  I had a pile as I’m very uncomfortable and sore. This just started a couple of weeks ago, it’s got a bit to much now and I’m talking to the doctor tomorrow I get so anxious. How about trying some good old zinc & caster oil cream? Will update tomorrow

Cinders61, when you put the cream on your bottom did you feel any hard lumps. When you get piles (12 years now for me) if the pile has prolapsed it will feel like a hard pea or can get to a small marble size. The pain will be all day long.You can have piles just on the inside of the anus that haven’t prolapse yet. Mine are all prolapse.

You can also get a fissure ( which I have had since the start of July and I’m waiting to see a specialist)
A fissure usually bleeds when you poo. It feels like you’re pooping glass and the pain last for a couple of hours after. I’m at the point after a couple I don’t bleed anymore just get pain.

Now about seeing a doctor, please do. I’ve had male and female doctors seen my butt over the years. It’s their job, and it’s the best way for them to make help you. It’s always very above board. I live in Australia and was seeing a specialist about 3 years ago. He wanted to do examination with his finger and a camera. He explained what he wanted to do and brought in a female nurse to watch why he did his examination. And will probably will have another examination again soon. So I think that’s will be number 4 .

Thanks so much again. Just got off the phone from the doctor she is going to give me a front & back examination tomorrow.  I told her about the dryness and she is very happy to give me something for it.

Back to the bum🤣. I told her about the tailbone pain, and the sore bum, I told her the pain radiates to the right side bum cheek and she said a pile wouldn’t do that. She asked was there any lumps on the tailbone, but it’s hard to say as it’s bony anyway. Anyway she said to go in so she could rule out an infection. What would that be? The whole right side inside the bum just feels like it’s sore & radiating to the cheek, even when walking.

Hopefully she will find the problem I hope so I’m not sleeping and haven’t eaten much. Thanks again x

Kp64 I’m glad you are seeing you’re doctor tomorrow. Hopefully she will have some answers for you and will be able to put your mind at rest.
