Oh dear,sounds stressful.

Too many things to do in too short a time. I hope you make up before you go away. Nothing worse than an atmosphere.

Are you off somewhere nice ?

Hope you managed to calm down CLKD. It's about time you told him which stuff went in which bin then next time he would know and that would save you the job. It doesn't hurt to swap jobs once in a while and then, should one of you be ill or away, the household can still run smoothly.

Funny anecdote - my still-at-home son is off to Canada for a year soon (that's another story) and so I thought he should take over his washing and ironing and cooking - well at least do some of it - to get himself geared up to looking after himself. He failed to see the reasoning behind this needless to say. Last night he should have put the wheely bins out and didn't. When I went up to his room to ask why he turned to me, and gently said with a sweet, sweet smile said "Mum, in eight weeks time I will be thousands of miles away so I thought it was about time you learnt to put the bin out so that once I have gone you can cope". What could I say? He's always got an answer!

Brilliant Taz....are you sure you don't have my son staying with you.

Great he is off on an adventure. What is he doing in Canada, and can my son come with him......He does nothing here either.

Bins......what are they?

He's just going to live with a friend of his who is Canadian and has invited him for a year. He is waiting to see if he has managed to get a working visa which would help.

At least it was the incentive for him to get a job having just lurked in his room for the past few years..... ;D

Oh yes....lurking.....I have a lurker.

Does yours respond in grunts or in words of few syllables..
It's all just a mumble with mine.

I hope he gets the visa that he needs and has a brilliant time.

You could go and visit. I would love to see the wilder parts of Canada.

Me visit? I would have to get a passport first and win the lottery!

I can't see me visiting to be honest - the thought of being cooped up in a plane for hours doesn't appeal. I love airports but only dropping off and picking up other people.

Taz you aren't missing anything.

Airport security rigmarole these days is tedious in the extreme. Spend lottery win on something else!

You need to travel first class Taz. You won't be cooped up, you can make your seat into a bed and wine on tap.  ::)

Littleminnie is right - you get through security more quickly and get the use of a VIP lounge as well
Still time to reconsider..............   ;D

Yes Limpy. More free wine in the VIP lounge. You won't care if you are cooped up or not. You may not even remember the flight.......

Don't think she is going ladies.

After having a lurker I can understand why.

It's nice to have them at home and although I can't speak for Taz....My son and I get on a lot better when we don't see each other every day.
