I was wondering if CLKD was taking it in as a side line.

We don't have that much and there are four of us.....or maybe we are just grubby.

Don't like a top sheet, being tucked in is claustrophobic and I get all tied up in the sheet if it's loose!

OH will NOT do duvets, has to be blankets (with sheets)
He tolerates an electric under blanket, as long as his side if off!

We used to use an electric overblanket which he found too heavy...............   ???

We have a top sheet and a duck and down duvet. The reason for the top sheet is the duvet cover does not get washed every time the bed gets changed just every other time.

Could not go back to blankets.....to heavy and way too much work.
I used to have a candlewick bed spread when I was little. I spent many a happy hour picking out the tufts. It used to drive my mother mad  ;D

Oh forgot the blanket and leccy double turn off/on blanket  ::)
That's on top of the sheets and under a candlewick (which was Grandma's and given to us as an engagement present: only to be used on *our* bed  ::) ) and a pretty throw-over to complete the look

I ditched the duvet due to allergy problems.  Not so much as what the duvet was filled with but because I got very hot in the early hours which causes sneezing++ which meant not sleeping  :-\

We had one of the first duvet 'kits' in the country  ::) when they became fashionable.  That was, let me see: 1973

Was whizzing along quite nicely.  Sorting out the poultry before we go away.  Clearing the shed to make it easier for the  neighbour to find the food stuffs.
Lined up the re-cycling on the freezer top ready to take into the bins.  Found that someone else  >:( had taken it ....... but of course HE doesn't know which bin is for what  :bang: :bang: :bang:  "I was going that way so thought I would help".  We had this conversation 2 weeks ago, again when he was filling time before his French Class. Instead of doing tuff that I suggested yesterday that he gets tidied up ......... which I of course, then had to do as he is out all morning and we go away after lunch.  I can understand why dogs GROWL  :'(

Still need to: wash the utility room floor; make our bed and tidy room; shut poultry away; (HE doesn't even know the difference between the 3 birds, calls them 'the feathered ones' ....... which is so unhelpful if one is poorly ......... ).  Sink full of breakfast dishes and HE still has the cooker top to clean OR ELSE !!!! <sigh>  :'( if I could cry I would howl ........
