Its amazing how filthy it gets, I clean for hours every day but get to do it all again the next! Daughters bedroom tomorrow which means moving all the precious lego constructions without breaking them & putting them back in the exact same space. Then all the other special bits & pieces too. I am minimalist kids are not!! xx

DH has begun painting the wood work so all windows open - fortunately the sun is shining so there's a good 'blow'

Water orchid plants
Buy loo rolls, bread rolls and t-bags
Write to my sister .......
Off for my bath!

Im a list person. When there is a lot going on in a week, I make a list for the whole week and cross the things off as I go along. I don't bother if it's a normal week of cleaning, shopping, going to work etc.

I have two household lists running this week - one for the plumber and his team who are about to start removing my old bathroom this morning, and one for the jobs and shopping I need to do today!
I have 4 projects running at work so there are lists for each of them
Most urgent for today -
Buy and send Fathers Day Pressy to my Dad
Buy one for DH
Collect bathroom tiles
Supermarket shopping

Galadriel - we ripped our bathroom out today too! The builders were here at 8 am - problem is we only have one toilet so it's awkward but he has put t the old one back in temporarily . Major refurb so its going to take quite a few days. Husband doing the electrics as we speak - lots of swearing and cursing - boiling up the attic.
Be glad when it's all done xx

Hehe groundhog... We're lucky we have an en suite... Already it's driving me mad sharing with the kids!
I have men in to do mine as DH and electrics do not mix well
Father's Day shopping done and posted.
Supermarket shopping done.
Tiles will have to wait till tomorrow.

I had our bathroom turned round 5 years ago and every night I lay in the bath and think how much I love it! Moved the loo to another wall, the wash basin was moved to where the loo had stood; the bath was moved from one wall to along where the wash basin had been; in the corner where the bath had been is now a large shower unit - we could get 5 friendly people in there
The wall of the shower is 'mermaid' board rather than tiles, a splash of bright red/gold in the room.
Walls - pale cream with cream/green or pink towels.
