changes can be scary, even when we want them

I cut foil to fit my boots to keep feet warm or that foil one buys for behind radiators.

Hats off to you PF. My last attempt at knitting a jumper (many years ago) ended up with one arm suitable for a gibbon not a human. I gave up after that.

Autumn has arrived. Along with nights pulling in and cooler air though the current warmth is very welcome.

I don’t like winter at the best of times. But this year is going to be a lot worse I think.

I think that unless the weather continues to be lovely, it's going to be a long, lonely time for many. Time to get those hobbies out of the cupboard?

We are due for a rough winter here. Lots of snow and colder than average days. They (the weather know it alls) have been wrong before!

It is a lovely time, other than leading up to C.mas which has always been dreadful 4 me. Most of the birthday commitments fall between now and C.mas Eve
I do try to buy throughout the year but it doesn't always work.

You haven't been here long enough to have followed my trials and tribulations relative to C.mas
. Yep. Duty Visits++. With people I don't actually like ......... we don't eat out these days .

It's OK. Families, enough said
I love the autumn colours. The mist that sits slightly above the rivers ....... "Llanilar mornings"
......... crisp frosts when they arrive. Can hardly wait for Jan
when the cycle begins again.

Haven't read the whole thread, but really not looking forward to winter with this covid crisis. Haven't enjoyed the summer, pretty certain I haven't soaked up enough vitamin D
, and the thought of any lockdown when it's getting dark at 3pm is really not appealing to me. Not entirely happy where I'm living at the moment and want to move ultimately so that will add to not feeling like I can settle this winter.
