Hello ladies... pretty much at the end of my tether with trying to adjust HRT to suit me. The biggest problem I have is excruciating knee pain and swelling of my knees. It’s started since I went on HRT. I’ve seen consultants, had steroid injections, physio, acupuncture, osteopath and MRI’s. I just can’t get an answer to it. I can take paracetamol and ibuprofen but I really want to find out what’s causing it and the only thing I haven’t tried is stopping my HRT completely.
I’m due to change my patch this evening so I’m so tempted to stop. It’s the thought of the hot sweats returning that makes me hesitate.
I’ve recently been diagnosed as Histamine intolerant by the Newsome clinic and wondered has anyone suffered anything similar or been in the position where HRT caused swelling/pain in joints or muscles.
