Thank you.  You have made me feel so much better.  I was so confused 🤷🏾‍♂️ he left me feeling let down.  He made it sound like this was anxiety and not HRT.

I will ask for a change in treatment and stop the Conti now.

You're confused, sounds like the GP ain't getting the message.  This is common across the UK  >:(

Ring the surgery and ask for a referral to a Menopause Clinic, not a gynaecologist as they know about as much as GPs seem to do!  Let us know how you get on.  You don't need to see a GP again ..........

Hi - just an update.  Unfortunately waiting for the GP to refer you to a Meno clinic is near impossible at the moment so decided to self refer.  Game changer (fingers crossed).

I saw a Meno specialist on Thursday who gave me a thorough check-up including blood pressure.  Unsurprisingly my pressure was rocketing because of the anxiety, worry and confusion I have been experiencing.  She has prescribed me meds for that as this has been a problem for me up and down.  (GP took me off them about 2 months ago).  Anyway, I have now started the patches Evorel Sequi and on day 3.  I feel more confident now in my journey with peri as I actually sat face to face with someone who wasn’t trying to fob me off with AD in a 10 min phone slot.  She is more than certain it’s hormonal and hoping it will lift but have to give it time.  Only time will tell.

Trying to be optimistic but keeping a little back for just in case!

I have to be patient - just wish my food appetite would return (not sure it’s helping)!

Oh well done you  :medal: and thanks for the update.  I don't think that many in the medical profession realise how important it is to be listened to! even if we don't agree with the outcome ;-).

Try to nibble - I use dried fruits and nuts, bananas, pancake mix, cream crackers with cheese .......... as my go to perk me ups ;-).  I also eat B4 my body requires energy!
