Motivation
« on: July 09, 2020, 01:28:49 PM »

Hi lovelies.
I'm 53 post menopause, on HRT. I started with pills but have changed to combi patches due to low sex drive, not feeling much, no motivation to do anything.
I'm feeling more alive on the patches, but the motivation is still non existant. Any advice how I can get my arse in gear to exercise, go out, engage with my family more, and please my soon to be new husband.
Thanks lovelies. Xx

Hi Lynne
On the exercise front, as I am missing my early morning swims & my zumba classes stopped last year. Decided I wanted to do something else other than walking & odd cycle ride.  I heard about Karen Hauer (dances on Strictly) well during lockdown she started doing cardioke with her BF, the sessions are around 30mins, they are fun and easy to do. They are all on you tube she also does other short exercises.

Give yourself a break?   Think about what else is happening in your Life - children/aging parents/stressful job/lockdown - all can impact and drain energy.

If I get the housework done in a week I'm well pleased.  I used to walk 4-5 miles daily, more at weekends.  It's about pacing myself these days  ::)
