Hi!
Yes breakthrough bleeding is normal, it should die down.
I had a break through bleed when I first started HRT, and I was post menopause.
The Femoston ISNT the continuous one is it?
If it is, your on the wrong one, Femoston conti is for POST menopausal women, you'll need the sequential version, because you havnt gone 12 months without a period.

Hi
Yes it's right.
So many women get prescribed the wrong one. Just thought I'd ask.
But yes, breakthrough bleeds are very common. Common in the first few months of taking it.
It should settle. It's only a worry if it's after some time of being on it.
Hope this reassures you.

I think I replied on your other thread? The first two to three bleeds when you begin HRT are often heavy and painful as your body adjusts to the increase in hormones. This should settle down to manageable bleeds. Mine were light and only lasted four days by month 5. It takes three months at least before you know whether a particular HRT is right for you so don't feel despondent.
