New to HRT

Hello Ladies

I am new to this lovely forum  :)

I am 47 and in Peri , GP gave HRT 5 weeks ago , combination , sequential ... for the first 8 days I felt great (placebo effect maybe ?) however since then I have felt more and more tired, has anyone else had this ? Beginning to wonder if HRT is for me ?? X

Welcome to the forum!  :foryou:

I don't personally think it was the placebo effect.....often it takes a while for the hormones to get into your system, also you are on a sequi regime so it could be because you've introduced a different part of the regime? As you are are peri, your own hormones will be fluctuating and might be adding to the mix.

I've recently just started a new regime & I'm also on day 8. I felt great to start with but now the hormones are kicking in & well, I'm just trying not to panic to be honest because mine is a coil...it's a scary thing trying something new so my heart goes out to you fully on that score!

There are lots of really knowledgable ladies on here who I'm sure will come along and offer some more helpful advice but it might be worthwhile saying what regime you are on including dosages. Hopefully this response will push your post to the top so you get more responses.
