The parents are still in our garden, first time I've seen them together since the nest was built, nest was deep in the holly bush so I don't think crows etc could get to them, just a bit suspicious the cat on camera last night,so sad, they were such great parents 😢

It is sad. We put up lots of wire around the roosting sites then the cat who was predating was killed on the road aged 14 months.  I miss her dreadfully despite her antics  :'(

I realise that U weren't 'having a go' but Nature is cruel to humans but opportunistic for wild life.  Set the doggies  :scottie: :catscratch: onto the cat if U see it again. ;-).

On our night camera we see cats visiting that never appear in the day time.  ::)

I don't know why but everything in the hedgerows and verges seem much brighter this year: dandelions, forgetmenots; sloe and now May blossom - lush.

You can’t beat it.
On one walk in the week stitchwort, wild garlic out as well and birds singing their hearts out.

I've heard but not seen a couple of cuckoos over the last week or so. Just waiting for the housemartins to arrive, they're always a lovely sight, swooping around as they do
