Could be.  The owner doesn't think it will get back to Watford unless we R able 2 catch it.  Not keen actually as it adds extra stress.  If it becomes hand tame that's a different matter.  It didn't fly when I threw some seed to it earlier  8)

CLKD, we had a stray racing pigeon in the greenhouse a few years ago.We gave him some bird food so he eat well. He stayed in the greenhouse overnight. ;D We phoned the owner and he came from the Birmingham area to collect him the next day.

Some, if they get lost, are destroyed as the genes aren't good to pass down.  Another reason why I won't be keen to send this one back ;-)

If he's one of the Peterborough Missing then this was due to a solar storm and not just a pigeon who is not good at navigation. He should still be allowed back. Hope the owners still want him.

They do want him.  But I'm not going to stress it ..............

Claude is on the roof apex wondering whether to investigate the seed I've put out  8)

It will fly when it's ready although the owner doesn't think that it will get back to Watford.  Should it become hand tamed  ::) he can collect it.

Yep.  I talk to it when I'm around the garden.  It's had a long drink and lots of grub, now preening on the apex. 

Smaller birds enjoying the mixed grain  8)

It won't get back unless collected.  The owner asked me to feed it - indeed it flew off last Sat. and was back on Tuesday probably due to not finding sufficient mix of food/water.

Also, it's basically a wild bird.
