It could be a fox, jaypo.

We did have a fox at one time but our garden has high fencing around it,so don't think it was Mr Fox,forgot about that sparrow hawk clkd,looking at the ring camera,some feathers appear at our back door first,then on the lawn but it doesn't show anything else.......thankfully

It will be a sparrowhawk or another bird of prey depending on where you live.

Yes Taz,we had one a few months back and it sat on our tree in the front garden,bold as brass

Mine watches me fill the feeders every morning

Jumping up and down with delight then Taz .......... we had 1 sitting opposite the kitchen window recently: those eyes!

We've had two,well at least I think we have,one was clearly a sparrow hawk then just a couple of weeks ago another one appeared but much darker plumage,do they vary in colour?

Yep.  Male is smaller and darker [I think that's the way round] - a quick GOOGLE?

I'm rubbish looking at pix of birds clkd,I'd end up telling you it's in actual fact a sea eagle  🦅

This morning we have seen critters on nettles, masses of them clustered together.  Never noticed those B4.  Off to GOOGLE .........

I can hear more birds twittering especially gold finches

Bees, hover flies, insects: the ice plants are in flower, as is the golden rod.  Attracting late arriving insects  and the odd butterfly.

Just seen a pigeon land on the ship  must be getting a ride to Southampton

Froglets in the damp areas of the garden, now I'm worried about how many will be trodden on
