A few years ago DH watched a family of Mum with small babies in an orchard in the afternoon - she had five. They followed her across from one nest to another.
We also see 2 having squabbles between 2 over food caught on camera: one rolled up and the other tried to push it through the hole in the fence
: without success: so now I spread meal worms around the garden much more ...... B4 dawn magpie arrives to clear up any that the 'hogs don't want. Certainly there's lots of snuffling etc. in the evenings if several meet in our garden.
Many animals are solitary: bears, cats - who like dogs, will mate with any male that happens along so each kit/pup can have a different father, tigers, leopards, cheetahs: then the lions formed a Pride
. I hate the bit when Mummy bear hides from the 2-year olds and they cry for her
