Yes we did it - both my husband and I on separate parts of our land/garden. Numbers and species were down on last year due to the very strong wind but I had our visiting flock of long-tailed tits ( 7 of them) during my hour and two species that I haven't recorded on the Birdwatch before - wood pigeon ( which balances in an ungainly fashion on the mixed seed feeder tray - I bought a bigger one to catch more of the seed so the pigeon has worked out how to feed from there!) Also a pied wagtail - we often have them around the place but not on my Big Garden Birdwatch patch! No chaffinches, no blue, great or coal tits this year for my hour - in fact there are hardly any of these around at all this winter. Very few sparrows - are huge flock is down to about 5 - and I only saw 3 feeding during my hour....
