It's dry thus far in Italy.

Now *that's* what I call scenery in le Giro :-)  :-*  :-*

I suggested that we rent a property over there for 8 months: however it seems that there's snow until late July which begins in later November  ;D

I'm not into cycling (my brother, on the other hand, is a fanatic) but I do enjoy watching the Tour de France only because of the scenery...it's breathtaking and it makes me wonder why I am not living there! ;D

Yes the scenery is beautiful in the tour de France, today the races were from Italy and Spain. The scenery in Italy was amazing a really deep river gorge then snowy mountains in the distance  :)

Dont blame you CLKD, a log cabin with a log fire would be lovely, perhaps a StBernard dog would make it perfect  ;D

NNNOOOooooooo they slobbers they does  ;D

Sealyhams curl up in front of the fire without taking the whole hearth  ;)

That deep river gorge flowing over those large boulders was great.  le Veulta is often boring >yawn< - hi lights soon.

C.C. - if you look at le Giro site you can follow the routes and if you put the towns in2 Google Maps you'll get an idea of the flora/fauna in those areas.  The place that they raced into this evening has a lot of history and is a ski resort.

I'll miss 2morrow  :-\ fishing  :-\

CKLD- will check out le Giro on Google maps and BBC Scotland. :)

St.Bernards are sooo cute as pups, but yes, they are slobber-pusses.  I'll take a Bernese Mountain Dog... ;D

......... take it anywhere in particular  ;D

A St Bernard became fed up with walking.  A few months ago one sat down and refused to move from the mountain side so rescue were called out - it took 6 hours and it was carried down on a human bed/thingy/sling ..........  ;D
