Which Yes product is best for Atrophy
« on: May 06, 2020, 04:23:24 PM »

I am wondering which is the best Yes product for Atrophy. Can I use the Vagifem and yes product at the same time? I haven't tried the yes product internally yet. Trying to combat the burning on the outer area as I can't use estrogen creams as they burn too much. Now having better days, but some days the Atrophy flares up about 3.00pm like today. Replies appreciated.

Hello Midnight Shadow

I have been using Yes VM gel for about 6 months. I only use it on the outer parts and apply it morning and night.

I developed VA about two weeks after coming off Oestrogel and I finally understood what other ladies had been complaining about regarding itching and burning! I initially tried otc preparations and then moved on to Replens. I learned from the forum that this contains parabens which are best avoided so now I use YesVM (the VM lettering on the tube is coloured purple).  This has worked well for me so far.

Hope this is helpful.
Take care.

Thanks Kathleen, I will try that. I also have yes VA. The products don't seem to burn and are very soothing. Will continue with Vagifem and yes and nothing else. Hoping it goes very soon. Thank you for replying.

Another option you may want to pursue is Intrarosa.  If you put it into search box, there is quite a number of posts.  For ladies who can't tolerate cream, this seems might be a viable option?  Some women love it and some women not so much.
