Years ago I was diagnosed with hyperplasia since I have had regular biopsies and internal scans recent was last October. Which the Doctor stated the cyst iI had were smaller. I have now had a full blown period anyone with any advice as can only communicate with Gp by phone, anyone had any similR problems please.

Hi welcome aboard.

How were your periods initially?

Did u ever have a break from monthly bleeds ?

Maybe put 'hyperplasia' into the search box and see what pops up.  make notes ;-)

Hi Fiona. How long ago was your last period? If it was longer than 12 months ago, which from your age seems likely, then you must report it to your GP for further investigation. It's good that your last scans were only six months ago and nothing untoward was found but you do still need to consult your GP as soon as possible. Phone consultations are carried out initially but GPs are still carrying out necessary referrals or face to face appointments under strict guidelines.

You will find friendship and support on here so please let us know how you get on.

Hi Fiona Ashworth

 :welcomemm:

I agree with Taz. If you are not on HRT then you should not be bleeding at all and should be reported for fast track investigation to your doc for referral. You should also not be having any sort of natural periods at all at your age.

When were you last diagnosed with hyperplasia and was it treated at the time. Also can you remember the lining thickness?

Do contact your doc and let us know how you get on. Like Taz says investigations are still going ahead and/or being resumed with measures in place to protect from CV19 infection.
