Me too Tc. My Dad will be off to the pub in his village for a pint, the minute they open the door, i'm sure he will. It's not the beer he's missing, he misses having a natter with them all.

Tell your dad I know how he feels! Missing our local so badly but not as much as I'm missing my son's! That will be my first 'outing' - off to their houses for the most wonderful of hugs.

It's tough isn't it?!. I do still see my Dad, as i do his shopping for him, but obviously don't go near him.

Oh I didn't dare say that, I don't believe in vaccinations anyway unless it's certain to KILL the virus completely, as in Smallpox

I expect it will be the over seventies first.  I'll see how that goes first.  Don't hold your breath though, it will be months or possibly never.

Although it's the younger age groups that aren't showing anti-bodies at the same levels as oldies ;-)

DH wants to get back to his hobbies ....... at least fishing is solitary

That's allowed.  We had a plumbing leak sort and were told it's regarded as essential.

Our friend's a plumber and has been working nearby for 5 days thus far, it began as a leaking radiator but they have decided to update their system so that it actually works.  Works when they switch it on  rather than when it thinks it might.

We need a new shower head.  I sent for a Victoria plumb catalogue in mid-Feb., supposed to arrive within 5 days but nope.  I also have a yen for a conservatory at the back to catch early morning sunshine    can U see my list going up

I ordered a new bed just before this all started. It was due to be delivered in a week. Haven't heard a thing, so I doubt that I will hear for a while. Hope I haven't lost the money. It took me ages to save up.

I'm going to add:

Mine are flowering now - counting the flowers and wondering how many blueberries I'll get this summer!

NB:  Make sure you get at least two that flower at the same time, as they need it for pollinating.  If they flower at different times, you won't get any berries!

The blackbirds are partial to the berries on our plants ........... we used to pick them in the wild, because the bushes were grazed by sheep they were very low to the ground, very peaceful on a warm sunny day

Easy Jet are going to keep the middle seat empty when they resume flights are lift-off of lockdown  don't all rush at once
