Worrying about that sore spot at the back tooth low down  :-\ ........ I can't remember if it's the 1 recently filled.

If you have toothpaste for sensitive teeth, rub some on to the tooth and gum.  I always keep teething gel in my medical box, it's excellent for  numbing tooth/gum pain  :)

If I get minor tooth discomfort near the gum, I do a bit if flossing between teeth. Often stops it.

Get cash in a box under the bed?

Coronavirus will hasten the decline in the use of cash as people make a long-term switch to digital payments, experts say.

The lockdown has led to a 60% fall in the number of withdrawals from cash machines, although people are taking out bigger sums.

Payment card use has risen with online shopping, particularly for groceries.

Experts say the long-term future of cash could be at risk, before the UK is ready to cope with the change.

This could leave behind an estimated 20% of the population who rely on cash, they say.

Just had a delivery from Tesco's at 10 at night. Only slot available. DH now has beer! Lovely chap delivered it

My 95 year old dad is going out early on Saturday to get cash, when no one is about. Not happy unless he can pay by cash. He won't bank online. The only other time he goes out is to the surgery twice a week to have the dressing on his head changed. All the staff know him now and call him by his Christian name, even the receptionists. They seem to have got very fond of him. He drives himself.

Ju Ju - It gives your Dad a break and a bit of 'me' time when he visits the Surgery.

In the same way as we were supposed to be paperless by 1990? and cashless by 2002?  How does that work 4 small shops, antique fairs, dog shows?  ::)

However, many high street Banks have closed due to staffing problems  :-\.  I'm all 4 the chest under the bed  :whist:

He's a very quiet, shy man and isn't used to being made a fuss of. I think he's enjoying it.

I will watch it, but i cannot see too much changing. As for his supposedly "Stay Alert" slogan, WTF does that even mean?. It couldn't be more ambiguous if it tried.
