Looks like it.  However where are all those people going to travel to: back to the UK most of them because the F1 corridor runs up the M40  ::) and they can't go into the US and Italy won't want those with factories there.  Looks like they will get an extended holiday down under?

Gold prices are going up daily so the UK is in a good position for borrowing against that ;-).

One of the Procycling racers left Paris-Nice this morning to beat Trump's closure of American flights from Europe  ::).  Don't know why, but he scedaddeled home ............ whether the race will reach Nice remains to be seen but I can't see why not - they don't come into contact with the public, are still hi-5ing each other ..........

POSTPONED : As a part of the UCI Women's WorldTour, the Women's Tour attracts a significant international presence from teams, riders, officials, staff, media and spectators, and it is felt that the risk of increased restrictions on international travel would be detrimental to the future of the race should an early, and conclusive, decision not be made.

POSTPONED: 2020 Tour Series Postponed [men]

Following consultation with stakeholders, sponsors and partners, we have decided to postpone the upcoming twelfth edition of the domestic cycle race series (throughout May 2020) due to the current uncertainty surrounding the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Why can't family muck in?  We were the first couple to have a catered wedding in our families.  B4 we had self catered with everyone bringing something to put on the table.

Paris-Nice finishes tomorrow instead of Sunday.

Yesterday I glanced over the Telegraph's Vet suggestions: 1 was to not allow your dog out into the public area if you are infected as the virus might live in it's coat.  The next suggestion was to ask someone un-affected to walk your dog if you are self isolating or affected :-\. I really need to read it again  :-X

That had crossed my mind.

We are supposed to be cashless .......... according to the Banks.  Yeah. Right!

I can see antique shops going out of business, most of those dealers are in their late 70s.  Hopefully if they have to remain at home and close business, at last the Government will cover the rental costs.

For a while.  As long as people don't have to sell it will come up again, probably take a couple of years though.  As long as 1 doesn't have all eggs in 1 basket. We have been in contact with our Financial Advisor who has agreed with DH's suggestions so we are able to leave stocks alone and use cash draw down.  [That sounds like I know what I am talking about  ;D]

Less than 500 in a group has been suggested  :-\ - now will that be in lots of 5 shouting at each other ?

Several small animal collections/petting farms are asking for funding because of the lock down.  They have to feed the animals and staff so need income despite lack of visitors.  Not an aspect that I had thought about  :-\

Exercise!  :o ..... what's is classed as 'elderly', apparently there is no legal age ;-) so that lets me out  ;D. I like educational programmes, about my level ;-)
