Has anyone tried spacing out Evorel Conti patches, and adding in Estrogel for a couple of days after patch should have changed? Trying to lessen progesterone side effects.

You could risk getting too much oestrogen and your womb lining thickening. Why don't you go for a proper cyclical regime which could have similar effect - you would have a period of time without progestogens, but you would have a withdrawal bleed. Problem with combi products like Evorel conti is that you can't increase the oestrogen on its own. If your doc thinks this is OK and is prepared to offer a scan (of womb lining) to check how it is working then go for it!

Or ask to try something with a different progestin, it may just be the one in evorel that you don't get on with.
