Hi all, I had intense itching, skin rashes, tried various products (now using Dermol 500 as a wash & simple deoderant) ended up under Immunology as my meno symptoms were not picked up on & 'specialists' thought I had some rare cancer or other rare disorder, ended up having numerous investigations, trials of high dose antihstaime (was even setting my alarm at 2am to take a dose, although unnecessary as was always awake then ayway!!), was on a low histamine diet for a while, various supplements to try &  help & low and behold 3 yrs later diagnosed as peri (if only I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have ended up down that road & miserable years of symptoms). Since starting HRT earlier this year I have had no skin rashes, itches. Started taking prescribed antihistamine (Fexofenadine 180mg) once a day, nasal spray & eye drops since late spring for hay fever but my symptoms are controlled with that, for the last few days I haven't needed the nasal spray.

Hi all

I have had that crawly, itchy skin for  a few days now.  I am on HRT, so I don't know whether its hormonal or not.  I did have  liver and kidney function test about 5 months ago,so hoping its nothing to be too worried about.

Hi Rosebush

Is it just a certain place on your back?

I get an itch on my back, always in the same place. It's not where my bra sits, and I've asked a couple of people , and they both said they can't see anything there. I've had it a long time now.

Thanks

Thanks for this Bobidy

I do wonder if some of what I am feeling is linked to seasonal allergies and therefore increased histomene.  Coincidentally, I had Avacado on Saturday and Sunday.
My skin feels like its "sensitised", so for instance, my hair touching my forehead feels really tickly/itchy.

I can remember in years gone by, that in the hay fever season, water pn my face in the pool, mad my face tickle and itch a lot

Why does an itch occur  :-\.  Is it a defence mechanism against creepy crawlies, I had one on my nose in the early hours and it was cold out from under the covers but I HAD to scratch it  ;D
