Have been on Elleste Duet happily for nearly 5 years, but suddenly I seem to be feeling anxious with higher than usual heart rate from about 5 days into the progesterone norethisterone part of my cycle.

It's been happening for the last few months, but I've only just realised it coincides with this part of my HRT.

Heart rate today has been racing at about 90-95 bpm.

I have a home blood pressure monitor and I just know it's going to be high, although just a few weeks ago it was 121/78 which is fine.

Anyone else experienced this? Have any ideas/advice?

I'm so scared to go to GP as I'm sure they'll just say "stop taking HRT" rather than investigating the underlying cause or other options for me.

I also don't want to be permanently on beta-blockers etc if I only actually need them part of the month...
