I just read your posts and think your sisters are right.  It sounds like it could be a bad move for you.  I have seen so many families fall out over moving too close.  A former friend “gave”  her elderly parents a plot on their land to build a bungalow. Well she says she gave it but I suspect she sold it to them.   I told her to be careful but she wouldn't listen.  They moved in with them while it was being built.  After a few months they were falling out over who should cook, clean etc.  I had been  very friendly with the elderly Mum for many years so I was right in the middle but wanted no part of it.

Then everything went pear shaped, they had a massive row and the oldies moved out and rented somewhere.  I got two different stories, the daughter said they never paid any housekeeping and didn't pay the builders merchants when they turned up with materials.  The old Mum said her daughter and husband interfered all the time and wouldn't let them build it how they wanted and made their life hell. They all stopped talking and the young ones carried on building the bungalow and sold it to someone else.  It is hard to believe but they had no contact for 16 years and the daughter only visited her poor mother on her deathbed.  She deprived her of her kids weddings and the births of 5 great grandchildren.

Where money and property is involved there is usually fallings out.  Think long and hard about it!
