Hi all, I tried to search this but couldn't find any other treads....
In April is started HRT...Everol 25 twice a week and after a month or so the GP put me onto Everol 50 twice a week......and like many the supply issues made it a nightmare trying to get the prescription filled each time. However the medication was working brilliantly I felt normal again for the first time in years. A month ago I went to pick up my repeat prescription and they handed me Elleste 40 telling me they were unable to get any supplies of the Everol, the pharmacist had contacted the Drs who had re-prescribed and I was now taking the new patches. I queried the lower dosage but was told all was fine, I contacted the nurse practitioner who agreed the lower dosage wouldn't be an issue.
Fast forward a month of feeling not quite right when yesterday I suddenly started a heavy and painful period

having not had one for over 2 years.....I was very surprised 😱
Has anyone else had this issue at all? I'm considering making a Drs appointment tomorrow but as with all GP surgery's the only type I can get that's not 3 weeks away will be an “on the day' urgent appointment and I really don't want to waste the Drs time if this is normal and other have this problem.
What are others thoughts on this? My husbands very supportive and really thinks I should see the GP as he said “ if I suddenly started bleeding you would want me at the Drs wouldn't you†and I guess he's right....but I'm concerned about wasting the GPS time
Any suggestions?
Thanks so much
