Well I think it's a period, very much like the start of one 2 weeks after the last one.
I'm a bit worried.

No official confirmation of peri but symptoms started 5 years ago and a lot worse now. No HRT at the moment but GP will consider it now I hope!

I know you will say I should be on hrt because of early peri and you're right.  The last GP I saw seemed more savvy and I'm hopeful when I go back she will play ball!

What has your cycle been doing for the past few months ie length and regularity, and flow? You don't necessarily need to be on HRT yet if you haven't started skipping periods or your cycle has not started getting longer, but it can help regulate periods sometimes in very early peri or in the late reproductive stage. The official confirmation is based on symptoms age and cycle and you can confrim it yourself through this - except if you have symptoms for which another cause might need to be ruled out by means of general blood tests...

Just had full blood tests which showed slightly low iron levels but all ok otherwise.
Cycle has been fairly regular into he last year although it's gone from 28 days to 24 and now its 2 days of flooding. Last year I had two periods in a month once and the year before that I missed one. Lots of peri symptoms, anxiety, insomnia, tender breasts, acne, palpitations.
