Increased temperature? Could it be menopause related?
« on: September 30, 2019, 04:26:07 PM »

Recently when I went into hospital I was told I had an increased temperature.

Sometimes I feel a bit sickly from the reflux and I'm thinking this maybe the increase in the temperature.

Does peri menopause cause an increased temperature?

I am now monitoring my temperature and it is still increased. Nothing to worry about but I have never had a problem with increased temp or blood pressure ever in my life.

I don't smoke or drink and I am careful with my diet. I am not overweight.

I completely put the reflux down to perimenopause.

It depends on what you were admitted for. [no need to say]. You may have had a slightly raised temperature but been totally unaware of it, now you are monitoring it ..........

I can feel warm, sometimes in bed, sometimes I have to throw off my cardy.  But it's not flushes as such but usually related to what I've been doing around house or garden.

Reflux can cause nausea as can a drop in energy levels.  When I have a panic attack it begins in my gut, goes into my thighs, calves, and I get hot.

Some ladies get an awareness of a raised temperature with nausea prior to a flush.

Thanks for the reply.

I think it is to do with the reflux to be honest. I am not worried about it. The hospital wasn't worried about It, and it is only increased.

I will mention it when I next go to the doctors.
